Gardening Channel Pipeline ("the app") is a private automation tool used by a single operator to prepare and publish videos on the YouTube channel Grow Eat Thrive. This page explains what Google user data the app accesses, why, and how it is handled.

Who uses the app

The app has one user: the owner of the Grow Eat Thrive channel. It is not offered to the public, and no other person signs in to it.

Google user data the app accesses

When the owner connects their Google account, the app requests permission to use the YouTube Data API on that account's own channel. It uses this access only to:

• upload videos to the owner's channel;
• set each video's title, description, tags, category and privacy status;
• set each video's thumbnail.

The standard YouTube connector used by the app's automation software can request YouTube permissions that are broader than the app's actual use. The app does not use them for anything beyond the functions listed above: it does not read, post, moderate or delete comments, does not delete or alter existing videos, and does not change other channel settings.

The app also receives an authorization token from Google that proves the owner granted this permission.

How the data is used and stored

• The authorization token is stored in the owner's own self-hosted automation software (n8n), running on a server controlled by the owner.
• Video files, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails are created by the app's own workflow and sent to YouTube. They are not collected from other people.
• The data is used only to provide the publishing function described above.

Sharing

The app does not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone, does not transfer it to third parties, and does not use it for advertising. No one reads the data other than the owner.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and revoking access

The authorization token is kept until the owner revokes it. The owner can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and can delete the stored token from the automation software.

Visitors to this website

This website is two static pages. It does not use cookies, analytics or forms, and it does not collect information about visitors.

Changes

If the app's use of Google data changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
